Amy Rainbow
Amy is passionate about meeting the needs of early families and caregivers of young children, as well as the professionals who serve them.
Rainbow is Amy's real last name! She loves to travel, thus began wearing in 2003 to help ease travel with baby in urban cities. She began her career as a babywearing educator by blogging as Amy Wraps Babies, volunteering with her local babywearing group in 2015. Amy has worked extensively in the new-parent space, including childbirth education, child passenger safety education (CPST), infant safety, and CPR.
Amy founded Adjoyn in 2017 to fill an unmet need for online, self-paced babywearing training for professionals, community members, volunteers, and anyone interested in comprehensive babywearing training delivered at the learner's pace and on their schedule.
Amy has guest lectured about babywearing for Birthingway College's Postpartum Doula curriculum, as well as presented at the WEAR babywearing conference, the International Babywearing Conference, and lectured as part of Doula Love's doula mentorship program. She is the recipient of the Perla Robertson Award for Distinguished Babywearing Educator, as well as a nominee for Babywearing Educator of the Year at the WEAR babywearing conference.
