It is thrilling to announce Adjoyn's "soft" opening! With the launch of adjoyn.com, you can now schedule services to help you fill a toolbox with skills for pregnancy, birth, the newborn transition, and early parenting. No matter what your journey looks like or where you are on your path, no matter what role you play for your baby, Adjoyn has services to help you add joy in.

The "soft" opening introduces childbirth preparation, babywearing workshops, and babywearing consultations for the Portland, Oregon area and way beyond with almost all appointments available via online video chat. There are already so many services being offered, and new ones will keep emerging all year with the full "toolbox" bursting with joy in early 2018.

Childbirth Education: 4-hour and 8-hour private childbirth preparation sessions are offered for those who prefer some independent study, enjoy having a human element for specific subjects, and need a class customized to their unique schedule. Babywearing Consultations: 90-minute babywearing sessions are available both in person in the Portland, OR metro area AND online via Skype. These sessions are 100% tailored to your individual needs and the needs of your baby. We can help you build skills, troubleshoot issues, or select a useful carrier for you -- that's right, you don't even need a carrier already to find joy from an in-person OR online consultation session! Babywearing Workshops: three group workshops are being offered this summer!!

• In July at the Multnomah Arts Center in SW Portland, "Carry Your Baby on Your Back" will teach 6 couples to wear their babies on their backs in cloth carriers.
• "Your Babywearing Plan" is offered in August and is meant to be taken before registering for or purchasing baby supplies. Attendees leave class with joy in knowing their full range or options and what fits with their lifestyle, needs, and budget.
• Early September brings "Babywearing for Birth Professionals," a full day of babywearing education geared toward doulas, midwives, doctors, therapists, counselors, lactation consultants, and anyone working with early families and caregivers of infants. It will offer catered lunch, a completion certificate, and continuing education units (announced at least 30 days prior to the event).
